Lake Belton Freshman Silver Team defeated by A&M Consolidated in Season Opener
The Lake Belton High School Freshman Silver football team kicked off their season with a tough 44-26 loss to A&M Consolidated on Thursday night. Despite the defeat, there were standout performances that offered a glimpse of the team's potential.
Dynamic Offense
In the first quarter, Lake Belton made an impressive start when quarterback Jessiah James connected with wide receiver Chris Harmon for an explosive 80-yard touchdown reception. This early score energized the Broncos and set a promising tone.
The second quarter saw another notable play as James delivered a precise 14-yard touchdown pass to Tight End Tristan Aldridge, adding to the Broncos' score and keeping them competitive.
