Freshman Silver Bronco Volleyball Wins the Georgetown Tournament!!!

The Lady Broncos completed their final tournament of the season in Georgetown, Texas by taking first place and sweeping the tournament season. The Lady Broncos finished with a 12-0 record in tournaments, adding three championships to Lake Belton's impressive Volleyball Program.

Game 1 Recap: The Lady Broncos matched up with a tough Georgetown team in the first matchup of the day. The Lady Broncos would lose the first and only set of the day to the Lady Eagles. The Lady Broncos would finish the next two sets with a strong performance on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. Haylee Kasner had a strong performance behind the service line with three aces. Betsy Navarro blistered the ball in the first match of the day with a team leading six kills. Both Ayaana Omisola and Aleksee Lutz were also impressive on the offensive attack. Morgan Campbell was great on the defensive block, while Haylee Kasner held down the back row leading the team in digs.

Game 2 Recap: The Lady Broncos were dominate in their second match against the Lady Panthers. Aleksee Lutz, Betsy Navarro, and Juliet Faleafine were unstoppable on the offensive attack, as each hitter accounted for five or more kills. Both Olivia Maldonado and Kaylieana Dickey-Garcia delivered different types of sets that exploited the defenses weaknesses. Kenna Morrison led the back row in defensive digs with Grace White and Camryn Mikulas having good games.

Game 3 Recap: Haylee Kasner had another strong performance behind the service line with a borage of aces. Olivia Maldonado also had a noticeable performance behind the service line. Aleksee Lutz and Juliet Faleafine used a variety of attacking shots that kept the defense off-balanced throughout the match. Morgan Campbell found herself in the right position time and time again as she dominated on the defensive block. Olivia Maldonado was all over the court during this match as she found a way to motivate her teammates after she hit the ground hardly after making an exceptional dig, leading to offensive rally by the Lady Broncos. Haylee Kasner remained consistent in the back row and Avery Reinhardt had a notable performance. Avery Kaiser found a way to help motivate and keep other players focused on the overall objective, despite being able to play due to previous injury.

The Lady Broncos found a way to come together and finish strong this tournament season. Despite the challenges that they have faced the Lady Broncos continue to impress. The Lady Broncos will resume play next Tuesday night at home with only a few matches left before district play.
