The LBHS JV Tennis team narrowly fell to Georgetown High School on Thursday night, losing by a score of 11-8. Several matches were decided by thrilling tiebreakers, showcasing the competitive spirit of both teams. In doubles play, the LBHS boys tandem of Ben Johnson and Dillon Ankrom secured a victory, while the duo of Lilyann Holly and Hannah Kim also emerged victorious on the girls side. In singles play, Garrett Hale and Andrew Williams both won their matches for the LBHS boys with impressive wins, while Andrea Espino, Lilyann Holly, Hannah Kim, and Hayden Maroney captured singles wins on the girls side. Looking ahead, The LBHS JV tennis team will be taking on Waco High on Thursday at home. RISE UP!!
