Lake Belton JV Silver Wins 21-12, Improves to 5-1 on the Season
The Lake Belton Junior Varsity Silver football team continues to impress this season, securing a 21-12 victory to improve their record to 5-1 overall and 3-0 in district play.
The game started strong for Lake Belton with a powerful rushing touchdown by Kaiden Harrison, followed by a successful point-after attempt (PAT) by Kaiden Ortiz to give the Broncos an early lead. The defense played a key role as well, with Andrew Hanson recovering a fumble, setting the tone for Lake Belton's defensive dominance.
Quarterback Reese Rosenbaum contributed significantly with a touchdown run, helping the Broncos take a 14-3 lead into halftime. In the second half, Rosenbaum connected with Logan Winkler for a touchdown pass, extending Lake Belton's lead.
As the game drew closer in the final moments, Jayden Haye sealed the victory with a crucial interception, preventing the opposition from making a comeback.
