In their season opener on Friday night, the Lake Belton freshman girls’ basketball team faced a challenging matchup against Shoemaker, ultimately falling short with a final score of 42-28. Despite the loss, the girls displayed promising potential and grit, laying a solid foundation for the rest of their season.
