The Lady Broncos JV basketball team kicked off their season in style, securing an impressive 47-38 victory over the Midway Panthers in their home opener.

The game didn’t start in the Broncos' favor, as they found themselves trailing 7-15 at the end of the first quarter. However, the team rallied in the second quarter, delivering an explosive 17-point performance while holding the Panthers to just 7 points. This remarkable turnaround gave the Lady Broncos a 24-22 lead heading into halftime.

The second half saw the Broncos maintain their momentum, showcasing relentless energy and determination. They never let up, finishing the game strong and holding off the Panthers for a well-deserved win.

Key contributors to the win included Keyalah Bradley, who led the scoring with 17 points, Ayaana Omisola adding 12 points, Eowyn Bistol with 9 points, and Ja'Niah Ford contributing 8 points. Every player brought energy and focus on defense, making it a complete team effort.
