On November 19, the Lake Belton High School girls' basketball team faced off against Midway High School in a thrilling and hard-fought game. Despite a strong start and moments of brilliance throughout the match, Lake Belton fell short, losing 51-45.

In the third quarter, Midway capitalized on turnovers and outscored Lake Belton 20-11, swinging the momentum in their favor. The fourth quarter saw Lake Belton struggle to regain their rhythm, managing just 4 points as Midway’s defense held firm to secure the victory.

Ariella Polley led Lake Belton with 7 points, including an impressive 50% success rate from the free-throw line. She also contributed 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 deflections, showcasing her all-around impact on the game.
