The Lake Belton Varsity Red and JV Silver played in the Hutto 4-man scramble at Delaware Springs golf Course in Burnet on November 18th. The day started off with suspect weather, but the clouds and rain cleared away and left only high winds for the boys. The Varsity Silver team finished in fourth place shooting and outstanding 60, falling only to three identical 58s. Seniors Rawley Soliz and Hudson Nix were paired with juniors Gavin Kerr and Brayden Hoff making 12 birdies and no bogies.
Sophomores Kaiden Beaty, Landon Casperson, Dylan Stephenson, and Andrew Hardin participated for the JV Silver team and had a total score of one under par 71. A couple of unfortunate bogies are all that kept the team from having a much lower score.
This was the last tournament of Bronco Fall Golf, and all of the boys are looking forward to hitting the course running when the spring tournament season begins!
