Today was a very exciting day for Lake Belton High School! We competed in our first ever wrestling tournament, and it went pretty dang good! Our boys got up early, wrestled hard, and even earned some medals today!

Results:

Henry Fournier's 1st place medal was a Lake Belton FIRST! He proved himself today and we are so proud!

Trenton Carter had a fantastic day and took home a second place medal!

Brock Von Rajcs did some amazing things on the mat, taking home second place!

Carl Huffman showed true grit today, which earned him a second place medal as well!

Leonel Castillo fought hard every match, which gave him a great third place finish!

Lucas Antuna made Lake Belton proud today! He did some amazing things on the mat, earning a third place finish!

Cayden Allison ended the night taking home fourth in his bracket!

Andrew Moore lead the way, giving Lake Belton its first ever wrestling match win! He ended the day with a fourth place finish!

Noah Santos fought through some tough matches, but he proved to be tougher and got himself a fourth place finish!

Alexander Villarreal showed his determination to get better today, improving each and every match! He is taking home a fourth place finish!

Joseph Casmus is going to do great things! He had some tough competition today, but he fought hard to earn his fourth place finish!

All of our JV Boys wrestlers had a fantastic day! We are excited to get them back on the mat for practice on Monday to continue to learn what it is going to take to be a top program! We saw so much growth and potential today, it is only up from here! Way to go Broncos!
