Last week was a great week of practice and competing. Numerous JV wrestlers won multiple matches, improved, and incorporated techniques we have been working on in practice. Varsity competed well in Burleson against district and regional opponents and continued to improve. Let's continue with another strong week, keep learning and improving.

This week is an opportunity for those that have wrestled JV to experience Varsity matches. Our dual this week, on Wednesday, is at Lampasas High School, another district opponent. You will get out of class at 3:30 and we will leave school at 4:00. Saturday is the Hill Country Tournament at Vista Ridge High School.

This is the final week of the semester and 2nd nine weeks of the grading period. Make sure you are checking skyward daily and that all assignments from days you have missed have been completed and submitted to your teachers.

Looking ahead, the school and all athletic facilities will be closed 12/22 to 12/29. We will not attend the Raider Ruckus Tournament originally schedule for Saturday 12/28. Enjoy the Christmas break. We will return to practice on Monday 12/30 thru Thursday 01/02 in preparation for the Centex tournament on Friday and Saturday. The full winter break schedule will be posted later this week.
