The game began with Taylor taking control early, leading the first quarter 17-9. Lake Belton found their rhythm in the second quarter, outscoring Taylor 15-10 and narrowing the halftime deficit to just three points at 27-24.

Coming out of the locker room, the Lady Broncos put on a defensive clinic in the third quarter, holding Taylor to only 5 points while scoring 8 of their own. This stellar effort allowed Lake to take a narrow 32-34 lead heading into the final quarter.

However, the fourth quarter proved decisive, as Taylor surged ahead with an impressive 22-point offensive burst. Lake Belton struggled to find their footing, managing only 8 points in the period, leading to the final score of 54-42 in favor of the Ducks.
