TRYOUT INFORMATION
Tryouts will begin on Friday, January 17th.
Must have a current physical, you will not be allowed to try out if you don’t have a
current physical on file with the trainers.
Tryout Times
*Friday January 17th: 7:00 - 8:30- (9th Grade)
*Friday January 17th: 5:30 - 7:00- (10-12th Grade)
*Saturday January 18th: 1:00 - 3:30- (ALL GRADES)
*Monday January 20th: 1:00 - 3:30- (ALL GRADES)
**All tryouts will occur at Bronco Ballpark**
Tryouts will Evaluate Players in the Following areas:
Timed 60 yard sprint, Hitting Exit Velocity, Ground Ball Fundamentals,
Fly Ball Fundamentals, Hitting Fundamentals, Pitching Fundamentals
Baserunning Knowledge, Throwing Velocity, Scrimmage vs. Live Pitching Scrimmage vs. Machine Pitching, Game awareness.
Players will need to be dressed in full baseball attire and must bring all their baseball equipment with them to the tryout (bat, glove, hat).
In case of bad weather (i.e. extreme cold, rain) listen for announcements made at school and on X for an updated plan. You can also reach the coaches anytime, emails are listed below.
