Great work this week. From practice, competing, and running a successful tournament. Our best overall performance at a tournament this season on JV and Varsity, and got matches against district opponents.

We are quickly approaching the District tournament. We will practice, Monday at 8 am, then after school Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. These will be our last major practices before district.

Wednesday we will dual Belton High. Originally scheduled for under the lights at Bronco Field, we will move to North Belton Middle School because of predicted weather. This will be Senior Night to recognize our 6 Seniors and their families. Seniors will receive information sheets to complete on Monday at practice. After Senior recognitions, our dual will be Varsity and JV, and everyone should be able to compete in a match.

Looking ahead to next week. JV district is Monday 01/27 at Belton High School. Start time is tentative for 8 am weigh in/skin check, and wrestling to begin at 9 am. Varsity will travel to Burleson, Tuesday afternoon and stay over night. The Varsity district tournament will be Wednesday 01/29 at Burleson High School. Top four finishers will advance to Regionals in Addison, and the 5th place finish as an alternate. More information on the Varsity District tournament and Travel will be posted as it is finalized.
