The Broncos struggled at the outset, contending with a slow start and multiple turnovers against the Bobcats' defense. The first quarter concluded with Lake Belton trailing 7-13. By halftime, the score was 15-20 in favor of Chaparral. The Broncos showed resilience in the third quarter, narrowing the gap to 27-33. However, they couldn't maintain momentum in the fourth quarter, ultimately falling 36-47.
A standout performance came from Chaparral's #2, who scored 27 of their team's 47 points, proving difficult for the Broncos to contain defensively.
