February 4, 2025 – The Lake Belton Lady Broncos delivered a dominant performance on their home court, defeating the Waco University Lady Trojans 56-42. From start to finish, the Lady Broncos maintained control of the game, securing an important victory as they head into the playoffs.
Lake Belton set the tone early, jumping to a 17-9 lead in the first quarter. By halftime, they extended their advantage to 31-19, demonstrating both defensive strength and offensive efficiency. The third quarter saw the Lady Broncos further solidify their lead at 48-30, before closing out the game with a final score of 56-42.
The game was especially meaningful as it marked the last home appearance for seniors Natalie Maldonado, Aniya Victorian, and Kennidi Flemming. The Lady Broncos program extends its heartfelt appreciation for their years of dedication, leadership, and hard work.
Adding to the special atmosphere, it was also Middle School Night, where North Belton Middle School student-athletes were recognized. The Lady Broncos coaching staff expressed gratitude for the young athletes who will soon feed into the program, as well as the dedication of their coaches in shaping the next generation of players.
