On Friday the 21st the Lake Belton Broncos travelled to Chaparral High School in Killeen. It turned out to be a sit on the edge of your seat kind of game. The Bobcats came out quick and earned a two goal lead pitting the Broncos down early. Right before halftime Kevin Muchunu put in a goal kick adding a jolt of energy into the Broncos before halftime. The Bobcats scored early in the second half making the score 3-1 when Zane Fitzwater found Austin Robello on a great run leading to a Bronco goal cutting the Chaparral lead to one. The Broncos turned up the offensive intensity the last ten minutes of the game but the Bobcats were able to hold the lead ending the game 3-2 with a Bronco loss. Lake Belton has the Belton Tigers and the Ellison Eagles this week coming up.
