On Tuesday the Lake Belton Broncos matched up against the Belton Tigers in a district soccer match. This was game seven of district play only leaving three games after. The game started out with back and forth action as both teams having chances to score. In the later part of the first half Kevin Muchunu found Tyrrence Taylor for a goal giving the Broncos the slight 1-0, lead at halftime. During the second half it was once again back and forth action when Roman Manriquez scored on a free kick giving the Broncos a two goal lead. The Tigers were awarded a kick from the spot (penalty kick) with 24 minutes left to play in the second half. Caden Ortiz came up huge with a blocked shot still giving the Broncos the two goal cushion. Kevin Muchunu scored a third goal sealing the win and three points for the Broncos.
