On Friday 2/28 the Lake Belton Broncos travelled to Killeen to take on the Ellison Eagles in a district match. The Broncos came out quick scoring 2 goals in the first part of the game. Roman Manriquez scored on a free kick and Austin Robello scored off a Zane Fitzwater assist. The Eagles came roaring back scoring to make the halftime score 2-1. Ben Asuncion Crabb scored the third and final goal for Broncos. Ellison got a late goal ending the game with a Broncos 3-2 win. Lake travels to Waco on Tuesday before finishing the district year up with a home game against University.
