The Lake Belton JV Red soccer team secured a hard-fought 2-0 victory over belton High, scoring both goals late in the second half to seal the win.

After a tense and scoreless first half, Lake Belton finally broke through when Tyler Adkins found the back of the net, thanks to a well-placed assist from Cody Campbell. The momentum continued as Campbell doubled the lead, rising above the defense to head in a corner kick from Long Chuong.

Lake Belton’s defense held strong throughout the match, shutting down Belton High’s offensive attacks and securing the clean sheet. The late goals proved to be the difference, giving the JV Red squad a well-earned win over their crosstown rivals.

With this victory, Lake Belton JV Red will end their season on a high note. Showing major improvement from the beginning of the season and looking to build on that in the offseason eager for next season.
