Lake Belton JV Red Edges A&M Consolidated JV White 10-6 in Defensive Battle

The Lake Belton JV Red Broncos picked up a hard-fought 10-6 victory over the A&M Consolidated JV White in a defensive showdown on Thursday night.

The Broncos opened the scoring in the first half when Diego Garcia drilled a 30-yard field goal, giving Lake Belton a 3-0 lead heading into halftime.

Lake Belton extended its lead early in the second half as quarterback Caleb Luke connected with Issah Alexander on a 20-yard touchdown pass, pushing the score to 10-0.

A&M Consolidated answered back with a touchdown of their own, but the Broncos’ defense held strong the rest of the way to secure the win.

The defensive effort was anchored by standout performances from Prince Kabuya, Lucas Antuna, and Henry Fournier, who each made key plays to stifle the Tigers’ offense.

With the victory, the JV Red Broncos continued to show growth and toughness on both sides of the ball.
