Lake Belton Freshman Silver Battles Hard in Narrow 14-12 Loss to A&M Consolidated

The Lake Belton Freshman Silver squad put up a strong fight on Thursday, August 28th, but came up just short in a 14-12 loss to A&M Consolidated.

On the offensive side, the Broncos found the end zone twice. Braxton Bronson powered his way in for one score, while KJ Bridges added another touchdown, giving Lake Belton plenty of momentum throughout the night. Despite the tough A&M Consolidated defense, the Silver offense continued to move the ball and create opportunities.

Defensively, the Broncos had several standouts who kept the game within reach. Nuel Fagbohun was active all over the field, while Roman Zaragoza made key stops to slow down the Tiger offense. Cadyn Alexander and Jadrian Rodriguez brought physicality with defending the passing game.

Though the Broncos couldn’t quite pull off the comeback, the effort and grit were clear from start to finish.

Lake Belton Freshman Silver looks to bounce back quickly, traveling to face Round Rock McNeil High School on Wednesday, September 3rd.
