The Lake Belton Freshman Silver team fought hard on Wednesday night but came up short in a 54-26 battle against the Chaparral Freshman squad. Despite the tough loss, the Broncos showed resilience and flashes of big-play ability throughout the game.

Offensively, the Broncos found the end zone four times. Erick Harness had a standout performance, scoring two touchdowns and continuing to establish himself as a reliable playmaker. David Casanova added to the scoring with a strong touchdown run of his own, while Braxton Bronson also crossed the goal line to cap off the Broncos’ offensive highlights.

Though Chaparral’s offense proved difficult to slow down, the Broncos continued to fight to the very end, showcasing determination and effort on every snap. The game provided valuable experience for the young team as they continue to grow and improve throughout the season.

Lake Belton will look to build on the positives from this matchup and bounce back stronger in their next outing.
