The Lake Belton Freshman Silver team put on an exciting performance Thursday night, ending in a hard-fought 22-22 tie against the Rouse Freshman team. The Broncos showed resilience on both sides of the ball, delivering big plays when it mattered most.

Offensively, wide receiver KJ Bridges had a breakout night, hauling in two receiving touchdowns that energized the Lake Belton sideline.On the ground, running back Erick Harness continued his strong season, punching in a rushing touchdown to keep the Broncos’ offense balanced and tough to stop.

Defensively, Lake Belton’s effort and hustle kept the game within reach, forcing key stops in crucial moments to preserve the tie. The grit shown by the Silver squad reflected their determination to compete until the final whistle.

The Broncos will look to build on this effort next week as they travel to take on Georgetown East View High School on Thursday.
