The Bronco JV golf team played in the Ranger Invitational on Tuesday at Blackhawk Golf Course in Hutto. The boys were teeing it up against some of the toughest competition in the state, including 6A Powerhouse Westlake. The Broncos were led by junior Lyric Smith who turned in a score of 96 on the challenging course. Right behind Lyric senior Caden Ortiz shot a 98. Senior Trysten Reese and junior Joseph Aragon tied with identical scores of 105. The team was rounded out by freshmen Kason Taylor’s score of 111. The boys learned a lot from their round at Blackhawk and are excited to tee it up at their next tournament at the Hills of Cove on October 21st.
