The Bronco JV Red Golf Team competed at the Copperas Cove Invitational Golf Tournament at the Hills of Cove Golf Course on October 21st. They battled windy conditions and set some personal bests on an otherwise beautiful day.
The boys were led by Junior Andrew Hardin who posted a season best score of 104. Following Andrew, Junior Liam Leon turned in a card of 108, not bad for his first ever high school golf tournament. Junior Joseph Aragon came in right behind Liam with a score of 109, another best of the year number. Freshman Gehrig Shipp had a total of 110 strokes which included his first ever par in a tournament. Rounding out the team Sophomore Brennen Chernicky's score of 118 strokes was his best this year, and he is coming off an injury! All the boys played well and showed a ton of improvement. They'll tee it up next on October 27th at Sammons Park Golf Course in Temple.
