The Lake Belton JV Red Broncos pulled out a dramatic 29-28 victory over Georgetown in a back-and-forth battle.
Shon Miller opened the scoring with a touchdown run, followed by a Diego Garcia PAT. Talley Beard added another rushing touchdown, and Garcia’s extra point made it 14-0 early. Before halftime, quarterback Keaton Rudolph connected with Aiden Alezy for a touchdown pass, with Garcia once again converting the kick to give the Broncos a 21-14 lead at the break.
With two minutes remaining in the game, Beard found the end zone again, and Rudolph’s clutch two-point pass to Corbin Diaz put Lake Belton ahead 29-28. The defense sealed the win with strong performances from Lucas Antuna, Chason Heisteberg, James Early, and Prince Kabuya.
The victory marks another impressive effort for the Broncos, who continue to show grit and determination late in the season.
