The Lake Belton Freshmen Red football team wrapped up their season Thursday night with a hard-fought 26–6 loss to Georgetown. Despite the setback, the Broncos capped off an impressive year, finishing with a 7–3 overall record.

Lake Belton battled tough throughout the contest, showing the same determination and effort that defined their season. The Broncos’ lone touchdown came from standout running back Amari Nealy, who broke through the Georgetown defense for a score that energized the team and the crowd.

Though Georgetown managed to pull ahead, the Broncos never backed down, continuing to fight on both sides of the ball. Strong defensive stands and gritty play in the trenches kept the game competitive.

The 7–3 finish marks another successful chapter for Lake Belton’s growing football program — a testament to the players’ hard work and the promise of bright seasons ahead.
