The Freshman girls basketball team delivered a commanding performance Tuesday night, defeating Harker Heights 67–12 in one of their strongest outings of the season.
Tiliah Kyando led the charge with an impressive 16 points, showing her ability to score from anywhere on the court. Close behind was Elsa Hayes, who added 10 points with powerful drives and confident finishing inside.
The offense was balanced and relentless. Presley Pilkington and Lexi Walker each contributed 8 points, while Camryn Rousell sparked the team early with 7 points of her own. Kayden Johnson brought great energy on both ends and chipped in 6 points, and Nevaeh Smith added 5 points with strong play in transition.
Rounding out the scoring, Areanna Long and Sophia Rotramel each added 4 points, giving the squad production from every player who stepped onto the floor.
Defensively, the team applied constant pressure, forcing turnovers and converting them into easy baskets. Their teamwork, communication, and hustle turned the game into a highlight reel of steals, fast breaks, and smart execution.
