The Lake Belton Broncos JV girls basketball team delivered one of their strongest performances of the season, powering past the Temple TemCats with a commanding 71–38 win.
Ayaana Omisola lit up the scoreboard, leading all scorers with an impressive 26 points, attacking the rim relentlessly and setting the tone early. Jordan Carter added a smooth 13 points, while Ja'Niah Ford and Ansley Dwyer chipped in 6 points each, contributing to the Broncos’ balanced offensive rhythm.
On the defensive end, Keyanna Hawkins made her presence felt all night—disrupting passing lanes, securing tough rebounds, blocking shots and sparking transition opportunities with her hustle and energy.
The Broncos controlled the pace from start to finish, showcasing teamwork, pressure defense, and efficient scoring as they continue to grow as a team. Broncos look ahead to their participation in BISD tournament this upcoming weekend.
