Davion Peters is a 3 year letterman for Bronco Football. He also ran varsity track for the Broncos. Davion has had an outstanding career for Bronco Athletics. In his career he finished with 876 rushing yards, 114 receptions for 1,837 yards. He also scored 13 rushing touchdowns and 21 receiving touchdowns for a total of 34. He also returned kicks for the Broncos for a total of 256 yards. He was a physical blocker on the perimeter leading the team in 25 dominating blocks this year. As a track athlete he was asked to run the 300 hurdles at the district meet which is one of the toughest races and competed to qualify for the finals with a whole lot of guts. Coach Cope had this to say about Davion “ DP is probably one of the most competitive people that I have ever had an opportunity to coach. Not only did he excel on the field but also in the classroom. Taking multiple above level courses each year he always wanted to be challenged. He would look for any detail to try and help him be successful. His passion for success and his drive to be great will take him very far in life. Can’t wait to see him line up at McClane Stadium next year wearing the green and gold. Congratulations Davion
