The Lake Belton Varsity Silver Golf Team competed at Lost Pines golf course in Bastrop against some of the best teams in the state on Tuesday, December 2nd. It was a cold day at the course, but the boys played their hearts out and finished up in 6th place. The team was led by senior Miles Parker, braved the frigid temperatures and a sprained ankle to turn in a great 82. Coming in right behind Miles, Seniors Brayden Hoff and Gavin Kerr shot identical 87s. Fourth on the team, Junior Kaiden Beaty shot 98, and the team was rounded by Freshman Jackson Dolotina’s round of 106. The boys are looking forward to a good break and will be ready to swing again next semester.
