The Lake Belton Broncos wrestling program competed in a hard-fought Senior Night dual that featured strong individual performances across both the girls and boys lineups.
The girls team finished the night tied at 30–30, with the final outcome determined by tie-breaker criteria. Lake Belton earned multiple critical victories to keep the dual even on points.
Michelle Hoffman (140) set the tone with a lightning-fast fall in just 31 seconds, igniting the home crowd. Akira Beck (145) followed with a controlled performance, securing a pin late in the second period. Anna Huffman (170) continued the momentum with a fall in just over a minute, while Kameryn Vaden (190) and Lorelai Scallorn (235) added valuable team points via forfeit.
Despite the tie on the scoreboard, the dual was decided by tie-breaker, narrowly awarding the win based on forfeit criteria.
The boys team faced a challenging lineup and fell 35–29, despite several standout performances.
Lake Belton opened strong with forfeit victories from James Holt (126) and Kameron Adams (132). Carl Huffman (138) delivered one of the most dominant matches of the night, earning a 16–0 technical fall in just over two minutes. Akshar Parikh (144) added another forfeit win, and Jacob Copley (157) secured a fall midway through the second period.
The Broncos battled through several contested matches, showing resilience and toughness throughout the lineup as they continue to gain experience heading into postseason competition.
