Tuesday January 20 the Broncos travelled up to Gatesville to take on the Hornets. Looking to bounce back after a challenging Mustang Cup the Broncos came out with intensity, energy, and motivation. Jacob Johnson got on the board first with a second chance effort giving the Broncos the 1-0 lead at halftime. Zane Fitzwater assisted Santana Herrera opening up the game to a 2-0 lead, while Roman Manriquez capped off the night to give the Broncos a 3-0 win. The Broncos will get a week of rest before their next game on Friday January 30th which is the home opener of District against the Ellison Eagles.
