The Broncos stayed hot on the road, taking down the Hutto Hippos for the second time in less than a week.
The offense was sparked by Analicia Diaz and Nani Rubio, who both notched doubles, while Alaysha Williams and Diaz wreaked havoc on the bases with two steals apiece. Brysen Gott also collected three hits on the night.
Lake Belton dominated on the basepaths, recording 7 stolen bases to keep constant pressure on the Hutto defense
Lilliana Herrera was dominant in the circle, tossing a complete seven-inning game and racking up 10 strikeouts to seal the non-district victory.
The Broncos have a quick turnaround as they suit it back up this Thursday, February 26th, to compete in the Central Texas Turf Wars Tournament.
