Belton ISD is proud to announce Kirk Rogers as the next Head Football Coach and Campus Coordinator at Lake Belton High School.

Coach Rogers joins Lake Belton after serving as the offensive coordinator at Austin Westlake High School for the past 12 years. During his tenure, Westlake reached the UIL 6A State Championship game five times, winning three state titles, and advanced to the state semifinals nine times.

Prior to Westlake, Rogers served as the wide receivers coach and assistant track coach at Southlake Carroll High School, where he was part of two state championship teams.

Coach Rogers brings a championship pedigree to Lake Belton along with a strong commitment to culture, character and competitive excellence. His offenses have consistently ranked among the most productive in the state of Texas. He is dedicated to building on the strong foundation already established at Lake Belton and developing a tradition of excellence through leadership, relationships and high expectations.

Rogers is a graduate of Hardin-Simmons University, where he was an All-American wide receiver and was inducted into the university’s Hall of Fame in 2011. Following his college career, he played professionally with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Berlin Thunder.

Belton ISD is excited about the future of Lake Belton athletics under Coach Rogers’ leadership.
