Despite the Copperas Cove tournament being cut short due to rain, the Broncos made a loud statement in the games they did play, finishing with a perfect 3-0 record, outscoring their opponents by a staggering 45-6 margin over three games.
Lake Belton set the tone early in the tournament opener, cruising to a 15-2 victory over Temple. The Broncos showed patience and discipline at the plate, coupled with aggressive base running.
