The Lake Belton JV golf team teed it up at Shadow Glen Golf Course on the 9th of March. The day started off damp and a little dreary, but the day turned out great and the golf course was challenging, but outstanding.
Bronco scoring was led by junior Landon Casperson who braved the wet conditions to post a nice score of 90. Right behind Landon, senior Eric Gulley overcame short game woes to post a sub 100 score of 94. Junior Duncan Moore’s score of 102 placed him third on the team. Following Duncan, junior Trysten Reese turned in a 104, and freshman Michael Stawski rounded out the team with a 110 total strokes on the day. Newcomer Aiden Newby, playing in his first high school tournament scored 107 as a medalist. The boys look forward to playing again at Lake Waco Country Club on March 23rd.
