The Lake Belton Broncos took on the Midlothian Panthers in the Bi-District round of the Class 5A Division baseball playoffs. The teams split the first two games, with Lake wining game 1 by a score of 5-2. Midlothian responded with a 3-1 win in game 2 to set up the pivotal game 3. Lake rolled to an 8-0 win to win the series. With the win the Broncos improve to 22-8-3 on the season and advance to the area round to play the W.T. White Longhorns.
