The Lake Belton Broncos battled the W.T. White Longhorns in the area round of the Class 5A Division 1 playoffs. The Broncos swept the series, winning game 1, 6-0, and game 2, 7-4. With the sweep the Broncos advance to the regional semi-finals round of the playoffs where they will take on the Melissa Cardinals. Lake's season record stands at 24-8-3 heading into round three.
