The Lake Belton Freshman Silver volleyball team battled Temple and came away with a strong two-set victory, winning 25–23 and 25–15.

The Broncos showed plenty of fight in the opening set, staying composed in a close battle before pulling away late to secure the 25–23 win. From there, Lake Belton carried that momentum into the second set and controlled the match from start to finish.

Defensively, Clara Smith and MJ Navarro were all over the court, coming up with dig after dig to keep rallies alive and give the Broncos opportunities to attack.

From the service line, Ella Phillips was a major difference-maker, putting together ace after ace and helping Lake Belton build its lead in the second set.

It was an impressive all-around performance from the Freshman Silver squad, as the Broncos continue to build momentum and confidence and are now 3 and 1 in district play.
