The Lake Belton boys had a long weekend, competing in the Texas A&M Bluebonnet Invitational (Friday-Saturday) and the Denise Petter Big Red Relays (Saturday). Despite the busy weekend, the Broncos would compete hard all week, with some kids coming away with medals.

Adam Walden and Julian Walker competed later on that day in the Shot Put and Long Jump, both where they advanced to the finals out of 48 competitors. In the end both would finish 7th in their event, but competed hard through each attempt. On Saturday was the finals, where Kendrick Jones Jr advanced in both the 100 and 200 meter dash. He would finish 4th in a tight 100 meter race with a time of 10.53. Later on that they he would come back and take gold in the 200 meter dash, winning with a time of 20.73.

At the Denise Petter Big Red Relays, the varsity boys would start of strong for the 3rd week in a row with big scores from field events. Xavier Wells would leap to gold with a clearance of 6-5 for the second time. Hunter Myers would tie his personal best on the weekend with a 13-6 in the pole vault, taking gold. Ryan Camacho would finish second in the 110 hurdles with a 15.48, PR'ing once again. Zy Thomas would take gold in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 41.43.

JV boys would fair better than the varsity, finishing 2nd overall. Highlights were the 4x400 meter relay (Brayden Rohling, Zack Summy, Cavan Pilkington, Zach Dodd) taking home gold. Allen Muchunu would win the high jump with a 6-2. The 4x100 meter relay (Cooper Arnold, Zach Dodd, Cash Robin, Tekoa Martin) took 2nd overall with a 44.35.
