The Broncos Defeated Gatesville 28-8 in their season opener Thursday afternoon. In a commanding display of teamwork and defensive prowess, the team secured a solid win. Adler Alezy and Montic Hodges powered the offense, each scoring a rushing touchdown, while Caleb Luke added another touchdown to round out the scoring.

On the defensive side, Chason Heisterberg led the charge with 4 tackles, setting the tone for a stifling defense. Bishop made his presence felt with 3 tackles and a tackle for loss, while Early and Scott contributed with 2 tackles each. Meredith also had a strong performance, recording one tackle and a key pass breakup. Roberts-Burroughs and Ciufo each chipped in two tackles, respectively.

The team's cohesive effort on both sides of the ball highlighted their potential as they look forward to the rest of the season. The Broncos will be on the road next week taking on Lake Travis Wednesday September the 4th at 5pm.
