Lake Belton JV Silver Dominates McNeil JV with 20-0 Victory
Lake Belton, TX – Lake Belton's Junior Varsity Silver team showcased a commanding performance on the gridiron, shutting out McNeil JV with a decisive 20-0 win. The game was highlighted by a potent offensive showing and a stifling defensive effort that left the visitors struggling to find their rhythm.
In the first half, Lake Belton made its mark with two touchdowns. Gavin Carpenter was the star of the first half, scoring both of Lake Belton's touchdowns with impressive rushing plays. His performance on the ground was pivotal, putting the team ahead 13-0 at the break. Carpenter’s ability to find the end zone and make key runs helped set the tone for the game.
As the game progressed, the Lake Belton defense stepped up to ensure McNeil would have no chance of making a comeback.
