Lake Belton JV Silver Defeats Leander Lions 19-6, Improving to 6-1 Overall and 4-0 in District
The Lake Belton JV Silver team continued their impressive run, defeating the Leander Lions 19-6 to improve their season record to 6-1 overall and 4-0 in district play.
The Broncos took control early, going up 13-0 by halftime. Quarterback Reese Rosenbaum connected with Ethan Curtis on a touchdown pass, followed by a successful PAT from Kaden Ortiz to open the scoring. Adrian Pippins added to the lead with a strong touchdown run, giving Lake Belton the comfortable halftime advantage.
In the second half, Rosenbaum and Curtis linked up again for their second touchdown of the game, sealing the victory for the Broncos. The Leander Lions managed to score a late touchdown, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Lake Belton's dominant performance.
With this win, the Broncos solidify their position atop the district standings, riding a wave of momentum into the rest of the season.
