In a closely contested matchup, the Bronco Freshman Silver team suffered a tough loss against the Leander Lions, falling 32-21.

The game began with an exciting start as Chris Harmon caught a 35-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jessiah James early in the first quarter, putting the Broncos on the board. Late in the second quarter, the offense struck again when Luke Phillips secured a 40-yard touchdown reception from Justyce Hendricks, bringing the halftime score to 19-15 in favor of the Lions.

However, the second half did not start as the Broncos had hoped. On the very first play, the Lions extended their lead with a long touchdown, pushing the margin to 10 points. The Broncos fought back, with Phillips catching another touchdown pass, this time a 20-yarder from James to close the gap.

Despite their efforts, the Lions proved too strong, ultimately sealing the game with a final score of 32-21. The Bronco Freshman Silver team will look to rebound as they return to action next Thursday at home against Cedar Park.
