On 12-30-2024 the Lake Belton Varsity soccer team traveled to Roundrock to take on the Cedar Ridge Raiders in the season opener. Unfortunately, the Broncos fell in a tough game 3-1. At halftime the Raiders had a slight advantage with the score being 1-0. During the second half the Broncos made the game competitive scoring a goal to make the score 2-1 with 20 minutes left in the game. The lone Bronco goal came from senior Austin Robello. The Raiders sealed the victory with their third and final goal making it 3-1.

The Broncos will learn from this moment and continue to move forward in their progress as they participate in the Governor's Cup in Georgetown Texas this Thursday through Friday.
