Lake Belton Girls Powerlifting Shines at the 2025 BISD Invitational Meet

The Lake Belton Girls Powerlifting team kicked off their 2025 season in impressive fashion, securing a 2nd-place finish out of nine teams at their opening meet. The Broncos showcased their strength, determination, and team spirit, earning an impressive 11 medals across various weight classes.

Leading the way for Lake Belton were Emma Scholz and Jaya Lisenbe, who both delivered dominant performances to claim 1st place in their respective weight classes. Macy Solis added to the team’s success with a strong showing, earning 2nd place in her weight class. Adding to the medal count, Kaitlyn Maus, Scarlytt Cotham, Abby Rydberg, and Aleyna Castor each secured 3rd place finishes in their weight classes.

The Broncos’ success didn’t stop there. Tayor Love, Tatum Vaughn, and Avery Park earned 4th place finishes. Shekayla Munoz rounded out the team’s medalists with a solid 5th place finish in her weight class.

The Broncos are eager to build on this strong start as they prepare for their next competition, which will take place next Wednesday in Florence. With a talented and motivated roster, Lake Belton is poised to continue making waves in the powerlifting circuit this season.
