In a spirited matchup on Thursday evening, the Lake Belton JV Red Boys faced off against Harker Heights, ending in a tough 4-1 loss. Despite their best efforts, Lake Belton struggled to keep pace with a determined Harker Heights squad.

The first half saw Harker Heights set the tone early, applying relentless pressure on Lake Belton's defense. Their persistence paid off, as they capitalized on two defensive lapses to take a commanding 2-0 lead before halftime. The Lake Belton defense worked hard to regain composure, but Harker Heights' attack proved too strong in the opening 30 minutes.

Coming out in the second half, Lake Belton showed renewed energy and determination. They created several promising opportunities. However, the team's efforts to claw back into the game were stifled by Harker Heights' defense.
