The Lake Belton Broncos competed in the Fort Worth Showcase this past weekend. The second game of the tournament saw the Broncos take on Benbrook of Fort Worth. Benbrook got up to an early 4-0 lead. Austin Robello put two goals away, as well as Roman Manriquez netting a goal to make it 4-3. The playmakers leading to these goals were Kai Zuniga and Kevin Muchunu. The Broncos had a chance to tie the game up with a centering cross that went wide leading to the end score of 4-3.

The Broncos on Saturday faced off against Southwest of Fort Worth. Southwest earned a victory of 4-0 over the Broncos.

Austin Robello scored 3 goals and earned a spot on the All Tournament team this weekend.

The Broncos will face off against the Lampasas Badgers at home on Friday 1/24.
