Lake Belton battled through the cold winds on Friday against the Lampasas Badgers. Going into halftime the score was tied up 0-0 with a great defensive performance by the Broncos. Lampasas scored in the first ten minutes of the second half making the final score 1-0. The Broncos showed grit and resilience through the game by continuing to put the pressure on the Badgers even though being down in the game. The final score ended with a Lampasas win of 1-0. The Broncos play their last pre season game of the year against Little River Academy on Tuesday 1/28 before they open up district play on Friday night.
